Academic Qualification For Sipahi
Applicants must have completed Intermediate (10+2) or hold an equivalent qualification. Acceptable alternatives include:
- A Matric Certificate from the Bihar Government Education Board,
- Maulvi Certificate from the Bihar Government certified Madrasas of Bihar,
- A Shastri Certificate (with English) or Acharya Certificate (without English) from the Bihar Sanskrit Board, or
- Any other State Government-recognized qualification of equivalent standard.
Reservation
- Reservation is applicable only for permanent residents of Bihar.
- Candidates must submit caste certificate, permanent domicile certificate, and (for BC/EBC) creamy layer exclusion certificate.
- 2% reservation for grandchildren of freedom fighters (as per General Administration Department, Bihar, letter dated February 18, 2016).
