Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Nationals and OCI/PIO (I)
Candidates must fulfill all five criteria:
- Performance in JEE (Main) 2025: Must be among the top 2,50,000 successful candidates in B.E./B.Tech. paper
- Age Limit: Born on or after October 1, 2000 (SC/ST/PwD: October 1, 1995)
- Number of Attempts: Maximum two attempts in consecutive years
- Class XII Appearance: First appearance in 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
- Not admitted to an IIT program listed in JoSAA 2024 Business Rules
For Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO (F)
- Age Limit: Born on or after October 1, 2000 (relaxation for military service)
- Number of Attempts: Maximum two in consecutive years
- Class XII Appearance: First appearance in 2024 or 2025 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
- Not required to write JEE (Main) 2025; register directly for JEE (Advanced)

- Candidates who appeared in Class XII in 2023 and withdrew from courses between 05.11.2024 and 18.11.2024 can register (as per Supreme Court order)
- Foreign nationals and OCI/PIO (F) are outside reservation categories
